Global Lung Health Group

A new Task and Finish Group focusing on Global Lung Health will be established. This work follows the successful pilot project where the Society worked with the Pan African Thoracic Society (PATS). 

The new Task and Finish group will report to BTS Board and would be charged with providing expertise to advise the Society about relevant stakeholder organisations and initiatives that support education and improve respiratory care outside the UK.  The focus will remain on support for low and middle income countries. The Group will develop a scope of work, with an associated programme of activities, alongside a workplan that will cover a 3-year period.
