Global Lung Health Group

BTS is calling for a Chair and members for a new Task and Finish Group focusing on Global Lung Health. This work follows the successful pilot project where the Society worked with the Pan African Thoracic Society (PATS). 

The new Task and Finish group will report to BTS Board and would be charged with providing expertise to advise the Society about relevant stakeholder organisations and initiatives that support education and improve respiratory care outside the UK.  The focus will remain on support for low and middle income countries. The Group will develop a scope of work, with an associated programme of activities, alongside a workplan that will cover a 3-year period.

Applications for the role of Chair and members of the group, is open to all BTS members and we are seeking strong representation from the full multi-professional team. The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Thursday 23 January 2025.
