Better lung health for all
Membership

Join a BTS Committee

We are proud of the fact that around 12% of our UK members are actively involved in Society business in any one year, and that the diversity of our membership is better represented than ever before in these activities. BTS members can become involved in our activities by serving on a Committee or Specialist Advisory Group (SAG); developing a short course; contributing to a BTS Guideline; the Lung Disease Registry or a Quality Standard/Clinical Statement Group; helping out at a Royal College event where specialist input is needed; putting together a response to national consultations and/or dealing with a request for advice and information. In other words, the Society cannot manage without you all!

We are seeking to fill a number of vacancies. We are looking for enthusiastic people who feel they can make a contribution and can serve from November 2024 and commit to 3 years in the role. You MUST be a member to volunteer for these vacancies. To apply for one of the vacancies listed below apply via this link. We strongly recommend that you outline the reasons why you should be appointed, as we select from applications based on these personal statements and how they match the work of the Committee concerned. The closing date for receipt of applications is Tuesday 27 August 2024.
