Radiology for Chest Physicians 2024

This course is principally aimed at respiratory physicians - both registrars and consultants. Those working in other specialities with an interest in chest imaging are welcome to attend.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of interpretation of both plain film and cross-sectional imaging of the normal chest and a wide range of acute and chronic chest pathology.

This course will be delivered on a virtual platform. This format means we can increase the capacity, and the faculty have planned the course carefully to ensure the content is appropriate for online delivery and fosters interaction between speakers and delegates.

All presentations will be delivered live and there will be the opportunity for all delegates to engage together in case review sessions*.

Presentations and case reviews will include the following topics:

  • Chest X-Ray - Anatomy & Interpretation
  • Normal CT/MRI Anatomy
  • HRCT: Terminology / Patterns; Reticular Disease & Airway Disease
  • Mediastinal Disease
  • Pleural Disease
  • Lung Cancer Staging
  • Distant metastases in lung cancer
  • Imaging of Infection

The course will be recorded, and all delegates will have access shortly after the course for a limited period of time.

*We expect all presentations to be live however, it might be some are not if there is a late issue out of our control.
